Why the recording is the weak point
Every lease return, rental return and fleet transfer is a small dispute waiting to happen. Odometer readings, condition photos and signatures are all taken on the same phone by one of the two parties.

Lease return at the dealer
Capture
Driver and dealer photograph the car together. The dealer's device acts as witness to the driver's captures – and vice versa.
Proof
Photos, odometer and the handover video are proven as one record: real car, real moment, both parties present.
Decision
The leasing company settles wear-and-tear charges on proven condition. Neither side can later produce a "better" photo.
